Financial Affairs Leader - Avis Azerbaijan, Bakü | Koç Kariyerim

Responsibilities

Manage general ledger accounting in compliance with Azerbaijani regulations and IFRS standards

Lead, coordinate, and supervise the accounting team

Prepare statutory local reports and manage annual external audit processes

Deliver periodic financial reports for Group consolidation purposes

Prepare monthly P&L, treasury reports, balance sheet summaries, and quarterly detailed reports

Complete tax returns and other statutory declarations, managing relations with authorities

Ensure compliance of financial processes with legal requirements and Otokoç Otomotiv’s standards and policies

Monitor bank accounts, customer receivables, incoming invoices, and cash flows

Verify the accuracy of invoices, accounting documents, and financial records

Develop and coordinate all necessary accounting and statistical data

Monitor the company’s financial status and support management with up-to-date financial insights

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes

Plan investment and financing needs, oversee loans, leasing, and other financial instruments

Ensure efficient cash management, treasury operations, and financial risk control

Collaborate with business units to provide strategic financial analysis and decision support reports

Manage financial processes specific to leasing operations (fleet valuation, contract tracking, depreciation calculations, etc.)

Develop financial strategies to ensure efficient resource utilization and sustainable growth

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in leasing or automotive industry

Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards

Proven experience in tax legislation and statutory reporting

Expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, cost control, and cash management

Experience in team management with strong leadership and coordination skills

Proficiency in MS Office and accounting/ERP systems

Advanced English skills, both written and spoken

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

High attention to detail, time management, and follow-up skills
