What awaits you in this role?
We are looking for a passionate Senior Specialist–Cost Accounting to join our team at Budget Reporting&System Development Tribe.
• Ensuring material ledger book on SAP is closed smoothly and month end costing activities are done properly
• Preparing periodic gross margin and contribution margin analysis reports on product, product category, sale organizations and customer basis
• Calculating and analyzing actual costs as well as comparing with standard costs to define and reduce the deviations
• Going over the material, labor and manufacturing costs deeply in production process to ensure the product costs are calculated reliable and traceable, when needed, providing feedback with counterparts
• Supporting financial planning & analysis reporting for the preparation of financial forecasts
• Overseeing the wastage and scrap deviations and also reporting their effects on production costs
• Contributing to financial closing & reporting improvements on managerial accounting purpose to facilitate the financial close & reporting process with a new initiative
• Making a structural analysis on fixed and variable manufacturing costs and then defining improving developments to create early warning system from cost accounting perspective
• Participating in SAP system development processes
The position is located in Çerkezköy/Tekirdağ. Hybrid working model is available.
How do we describe the perfect match?
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, and relevant areas
• 3+ years of experience in Cost Accounting
• Having experience in production sector is a plus
• Strong perspective on cost accounting management and managerial accounting
• Being eager and enthusiastic to provide reliable input for FP&A parameters and long-term planning
• Being familiar with material ledger on SAP MM module is preferred
• Taking part in an ERP project like SAP implementation for MM/CO modules is a plus
• Having enough knowledge on Turkish Tax Legislation and its impacts on cost accounting
• Having outstanding financial data analysis and high reporting skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
• Following and adapting the market trends and new technologies
• Outside the box thinking ability
