Engineer - R&D (Vibration and Acoustics Technologies), | Koç Kariyerim

What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for an Engineer-R&D (Vibration & Acoustics Technologies) who will join our team at Central R&D Directorate in Beko Corporate.

• Participate in R&D projects aimed at improving existing products and developing next-generation appliances
• Perform noise and vibration measurements and analysis on mechanical, aeroacoustic, and electromechanical systems (motors, compressors, pumps, fans, etc.)
• Conduct root cause analysis of noise and vibration sources at component, sub-system, and system level
• Carry out acoustic testing, sound quality evaluation, and sound design studies using professional-grade instrumentation
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, set up experiments, and perform data analysis
• Contribute to simulation activities including modal, harmonic, and acoustic analyses
• Support patent and literature reviews as well as technology and market benchmarking studies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product development, industrial design, manufacturing, product management etc.) to develop creative solutions to NVH challenges
• Communicate findings clearly through technical reports and presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The position is located in İstanbul, Türkiye.

How we describe the perfect match ?

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, or a closely related discipline
• Masters degree (enrolled in or pursuing) in Vibration, Acoustics, NVH, or Machine Dynamics is a plus
• Strong foundational knowledge of vibration, acoustics, and machine dynamics (coursework or thesis-level)
• Familiarity with measurement and analysis tools such as Siemens Simcenter Testlab, B&K Pulse/BK Connect, MATLAB, LabView is a plus
• Familiarity with CAE tools (Simcenter 3D / NX Nastran, ANSYS, COMSOL, or similar) for vibration/acoustic simulation is a plus
• Hands-on experience with experimental modal analysis (e.g., impact hammer, shaker testing) is a plus
• Experience in anechoic or semi-anechoic chambers and precision-grade acoustic instrumentation (e.g., sound intensity probes, acoustic cameras) is a plus
• Knowledge of or interest in household appliances or consumer electronics industries is a plus
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and grow in a collaborative R&D environment
