What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate R&D Engineer who will join to the team of Metal and Surface Technologies at Central R&D.

• Conducting research projects related to materials synthesis and surface functionalization as well as products development.
• Participating in R&D projects aimed at improving existing products and developing next-generation appliances.
• Performing material characterization and failure analysis to support product development and process improvement activities.
• Investigating material behaviour, defects, and performance deviations using analytical and data-driven approaches.
• Analysing experimental and production data to identify trends, optimize processes, and improve material performance.
• Building and maintaining databases related to material properties, testing results, and process parameters.
• Applying statistical analysis, machine learning, or predictive modelling techniques to improve development cycles and reduce approval timelines.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, quality, manufacturing, and product management departments.
• Supporting patent and literature reviews as well as technology and market benchmarking studies.

The position is located at Çayırova, Istanbul. 

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelors or masters degree in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or graduation candidate at Senior(4th) year.
• Hands-on experience in material synthesis and a strong motivation to contribute to innovative material development Project.
• Knowledge of material characterization methods and laboratory testing techniques.
• Interest or experience in data science, data analytics, or machine learning applications in engineering environments.
• Familiarity with statistical tools and programming languages such as Python or MATLAB is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
