What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Lead – Legal Counsel-Compliance join our team at Legal and Compliance Directorate in Beko Corporate.

• Implement our companys competition compliance strategy.
• Advise the business on all aspects of competition and antitrust law.
• Develop and implement internal compliance programs, review and strengthen internal policies, training and awareness programs related to competition law.
• Provide training and guidance to senior management and employees on competition law issues.
• Planning preventive/corrective actions and follow up, designing audit and monitoring processes.
• Carrying out reporting processes.
• Advise on competition law and merger control issues arising from mergers & acquisitions and the design of distribution structures.
• Represent the company in investigations and proceedings before competition authorities.
• Monitor regulatory developments, enforcement trends, and legislative changes in competition law across relevant jurisdictions.
• Conduct assessments of competition risks to ensure regulatory compliance.

The position is located in İstanbul, Sütlüce.

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelors Degree in Law, ideally followed by postgraduate studies in EU Competition Law.
• At least 5 years experience in a reputable law firm with a Corporate/M&A practice,
• In depth understanding and knowledge of Turkish and EU competition law regulations is must.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Experience managing cross-country matters/projects,
• Ability to operate in a complex environment in a global company,
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Flexibility to manage multiple time-sensitive matters.
• Flexible and open to new perspectives and diversity,
• Having no restriction on traveling,
• Working independently on assigned legal projects,
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business,
