So, what responsibilities does the Corporate Finance Lead take on at Otokoç Otomotiv?
• Coordinate and oversee the timely, accurate, and complete execution of monthly closing processes for the company’s domestic and international operations, while guiding the relevant teams.
• Ensure the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow and financing forecasts; analyze results and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast figures, identify root causes, and lead the implementation of improvement actions.
• Monitor financial performance indicators (KPIs) and financing results, and develop strategic insights to support company performance.
• Contribute to decision-making processes by evaluating profitability, efficiency, and risk analyses for new business areas, investment opportunities, and projects.
• Coordinate independent audit and group/holding audit processes, ensuring effective communication with relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Manage domestic and international budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes, ensuring financial planning activities align with corporate objectives.
• Ensure financial reporting to the Holding Company, the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (CBRT), the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye (CMB), and other relevant institutions is completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Prepare or coordinate ad hoc financial analyses and reports in line with management and business unit requirements.
• Lead initiatives aimed at standardizing, improving efficiency, and digitalizing financial reporting processes.
• Collaborate closely with business units to monitor financial performance, identify risks proactively, and support the development of action plans.
• Prepare financial review presentations, budget realization reports, and performance analysis presentations for senior management.
What are the Required Qualifications?
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Preferably 7 years of experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Previous team management experience or demonstrated leadership responsibility.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial performance analysis.
• Solid experience in financial statement analysis, profitability assessments, and management reporting.
• Knowledge of reporting requirements and processes related to regulatory institutions such as the CMB and CBRT.
• Strong analytical thinking, strategic mindset, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in process improvement and financial transformation initiatives.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and financial modeling.
• Results-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
