So, what responsibilities does the Product Owner take on at Otokoç Otomotiv?

  • Have end-to-end ownership and in-depth knowledge of the sales and aftersales service processes of the brands within the Spare Parts business unit across branch operations and internal/external systems (customer, order, quotation, incentive, service work orders, invoicing, etc.); identify improvement opportunities, prioritize them, and implement actions to increase process efficiency.
  • Analyze spare parts sales and after sales operational processes end to end, identify areas for improvement, and plan actions to enhance process efficiency.
  • In collaboration with the Business Analyst, identify development needs for digital dashboards used in sales and service processes, clarify improvement areas in line with target KPIs, and lead initiatives to enhance the functionality of digital screens to improve user experience and support operational excellence.
  • Act as a Product Owner for digital developments such as SAP integrations and Power BI reporting, ensuring systems are developed and continuously improved in line with customer and business objectives.
  • Identify, prioritize, and manage development requirements and system dependencies in line with OKRs; take corrective actions for dependencies, ensure ownership within the team, and manage the product backlog.
  • Evaluate incoming requests in line with strategic priorities; shape product development decisions based on a value-based prioritization approach using user data, transaction metrics, and field insights; exclude requests that do not align with the product vision and ensure controlled scope expansion.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and develop solution proposals.
  • Track developments in the automotive industry regulations and legislation and collaborate with Sales and Operations Leaders of the Spare Parts business unit to ensure existing business processes comply with regulatory requirements.
  • In projects participated in, identify requirements and develop appropriate solution proposals; carry out activities that ensure effective cost management within existing sales and operational processes.
  • Lead data analysis and create decision-support reports, KPI models, and measurement systems for business units.
  • Ensure cross-functional coordination with sales, operations, logistics, purchasing, customer service, and IT teams.
  • Plan, organize, and deliver training and informational sessions to increase adaptation to existing and new systems.
  • Enrich the product vision with insights gained from field and internal/external customer visits, and integrate functionalities into the product strategy that increase consultant efficiency based on real field experience.
  • Regularly analyze and report the impact of developed digital solutions on business outcomes (e.g., processing time, user satisfaction, error rates); identify system dependencies and risks, and plan necessary corrective and preventive actions.
  • Follow industry trends in automotive retailing and continuously enhance the product vision with external market insights.
  • Lead sprint planning, user story writing, testing, and acceptance processes within an agile working model.

What are the Required Qualifications?

  • Bachelor’s degree from relevant university departments,
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analysis or a related role, preferably in the automotive or retail sector,
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills,
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities,
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills,
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications,
  • Advanced level of English.
