What awaits you in this role?
We are looking for a passionate Senior Engineer – Project Management (Autonomous Systems) to join our team at Autonomous Systems Business Unit.
-End-to-end management of advanced warehouse automation projects, including ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems), Shuttle systems, AGV/AMR, and high-speed conveyor lines, covering project time, budget, and scope,
-Analyzing and mapping out complex operational flows—such as inbound/outbound processes, picking methodologies, replenishment strategies, and cross-dock scenarios—and seamlessly integrating them into overall autonomous project designs,
-Evaluating warehouse, production logistics, and 3PL operations using real operational data to align storage utilization, layout efficiency, and capacity planning with project requirements,
-Integrating key operational KPIs (e.g., throughput speeds, picking rates, and warehouse utilization) into project designs and continuous optimization activities,
-Coordinating with global intralogistics system providers and automation partners (e.g., Daifuku, Swisslog, TGW, Hikrobot, KUKA, Navitech); driving the seamless integration of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), WES/WCS (Warehouse Execution/Control Systems), and on-site equipment,
-Leading site deployment, commissioning, and final acceptance processes, managing FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) procedures along with on-site risk mitigation,
-Ensuring rigorous project follow-up, maintaining high standards for technical accuracy and deadlines.
The position is located in Tuzla/Istanbul.
How do we describe the perfect match?
-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering programs
-5+ years of experience in large-scale warehouse automation, smart storage design, and intralogistics projects (specifically focusing on ASRS, Shuttle systems, and AMR/AGV integration)
-Having knowledge of WMS functionalities, storage logic, putting-away strategies, and picking algorithms
-Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to warehouse layout design and process simulation
-Strong customer communication and multi-stakeholder project management experience
-Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of project ownership
-Being able to travel for site visits across Türkiye
-Excellent verbal and written skills in English
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
-Following and adapting the market trends and new technologies
-Outside the box thinking ability
-Open to innovation culture
-Flexible and open to new perspectives
-A great team player with a self-initiative mindset
