Legal & Compliance Specialist / Process Lead, İstanbul | Koç Kariyerim

Provide legal guidance and support to relevant departments to ensure that the company’s activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and aligned with the company’s objectives and business goals.

• Draft and develop contract templates required by the company, review and negotiate contracts, and provide legal support to relevant departments throughout the contract execution process.

• Conduct legal risk assessments for existing and new business activities, taking into account regulatory changes; when necessary, lead change initiatives and ensure that relevant departments take the required actions.

• Manage litigation and enforcement proceedings to which the company is a party, either through external counsel or directly when required.

• Monitor developments and changes in legislation and provide timely updates and guidance to relevant departments.

• Coordinate and manage the circulation of legal documents such as legal notices, enforcement seizure notices (Article 89/1), court writs, and similar official correspondence; respond when necessary and follow up on related processes.

• Ensure the company’s compliance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and oversee the implementation of necessary actions to maintain compliance.

• Support the effective implementation of the company’s Compliance Program, including conducting prevention, detection, and reporting activities to minimize compliance risks, organizing training sessions, and promoting compliance awareness across the organization.

Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) from university; LL.M. degree is a plus

• Minimum 5 years of professional legal experience, preferably in an in-house counsel role

• Solid knowledge of Law of Obligations, Commercial Law, Labor Law, Competition Law, and Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK)

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

• Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage legal risks effectively

• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced corporate environment

• Strong organizational, follow-up, and time management skills with attention to detail
