What awaits you in this role?
 

We are looking for a passionate Associate – Global Data Privacy who will join our Global Data Privacy team within the Legal & Compliance function.

• Assist the team in managing privacy-related initiatives, with a primary focus on drafting, reviewing, and coordinating Turkish Data Protection Law (“KVKK”) related documentation, including International Data Transfer Agreements, in alignment with recent KVKK amendments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data privacy related agreement processes align with legal requirements and internal processes.
• Support the handling of data subject requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Assist in reviewing and updating data mapping to identify and document data processing activities across the organization.
• Assist in the configuration and maintenance of privacy management tools. 
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Global Privacy Team for various technology and/or privacy-related initiatives,
• Support the Global Privacy Team with technical insights to address IT-related aspects of privacy compliance.
• Conduct research on emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on data privacy, providing insights to support the team’s strategic planning and compliance efforts.
• Assist in preparing educational materials and presentations for internal stakeholders on privacy-related topics.

The position is located Sütlüce, İstanbul.

How do we describe the perfect Match?

• Bachelor’s degree from a university or currently in the final year of studies.
• A degree in Computer Science, Educational Technologies, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field that involves the application of technology and data management & experience with IT systems and tools related to data protection and management is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of privacy regulations (e.g., KVKK, GDPR) and willingness to learn more.
• Strong technical problem-solving and organizational skills.
• A collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive approach to work.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Attention to detail with a keen eye for quality.
