Engineer-R&D, | Koç Kariyerim

 We are looking for a passionate Engineer - R&D (Food&Cooking Technology) who will join our team at the R&D Directorate in Beko Corporate.

• Research and support R&D projects on development of innovative cooking technologies, optimize heating algorithms and define system design parameters to improve best cooking performance,
• Conduct food trials and performance tests to evaluate and improve cooking quality,
• Work with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electronic, and software engineers) to align cooking behavior with product functionality,
• Assist in the development of new cooking modes and recipe programs,
• Analyze sensory and physical results of cooked food (e.g., texture, browning, moisture retention),
• Help gather user insights and contribute to user-centered cooking feature development,
• Define comprehensive test plans, analyze results, and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights,
• Prepare test reports and disseminnate for internal use and product validation,
• Stay updated with trends in food preparation, smart cooking, and healthy eating technologies,
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Product Management, and Marketing.
  

The position is located in Çayırova, İstanbul, Türkiye.


How do we decribe perfect match?

• Bachelors degree in Food or Chemical Engineering (recent graduate or up to 1 year of experience),
• Interest in cooking technologies (baking, roasting, steaming, air frying, etc.), food science, thermal processing, recipe development),
• Strong knowledge of physical&chemical properties of foods, texture, sensory evaluation techniques,
• Basic knowledge of heat and mass transfer,
• Analytical mindset, eager to learn, and open to working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Following and adopting the market trends and new technologies,
• Open to innovation culture,
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset.
