Lead Engineer - Power Electronics (Embedded SW) - R&D, | Koç Kariyerim

What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Lead - Embedded Software Engineer (Induction) who will join our team at R&D Directorate in Beko.

In this role, you are responsible for research and development from concept ideation through product launch. Specific activities will include design, test, and validation of power electronic-based products. You will have the opportunity to participate in cross-functional development teams as a contributor, leader, and subject matter expert.
 

• Improve and maintain induction control algorithms embedded in our products globally.
• Develop, improve, and maintain embedded induction cooking technology software architecture to ensure reliable and efficient execution of induction cookers.
• Use appropriate tools and test methods to ensure fully functional and robust induction cooking software prior to integration into platforms.
• Plan induction technology and control activities aligned with project needs and timing.
• Work with production plant and platform engineers to drive appropriate tradeoffs to deliver subsystem-level attribute targets.
• Lead and coordinate R&D initiatives to evaluate emerging technologies, improve existing systems, and propose innovative solutions that push the boundaries of current home appliance capabilities.
• Collaborate across functional and geographic boundaries to leverage global knowledge and deliver winning solutions.
• Drive innovation by filing patents for novel designs and technologies, and authoring research papers to share findings with the industry.
• Strong understanding of Cortex M series architecture and microcontroller peripherals to develop efficient and reliable embedded solutions.
   

Position located in Çayırova, Istanbul.

 

How do we describe a perfect match?
 

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering. (Master or PhD preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded C programming and debugging tools preferably in white goods/automotive/consumer electronics industry.
• Familiarity with MATLAB /Simulink tools.
• Self-motivated and a capability for working to a high level of detail and accuracy with an excellent working knowledge of modern microcontroller designs.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and practices.
• Willing to research new technologies and new generations of microcontrollers.
• General competency in periphery disciplines (electronics, electromagnetics, power electronics)
• FMEA, requirements management, project management, problem-solving methodologies, and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a research-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with multidisciplinary teams.
